I have begun to move away from the the original image for the time being and focused upon how icarus fell.

  1. Katie, what a revelation to see how an artist thinks and develops her or his work. I recently had a poem on Icarus published by Silver Birch Press here on wordpress. They used the picture from which you are working (the master picture). On my own blog, I’m about to put up a follow up poem (Icarus II), and I wonder if I might have your permission to use your beautiful sketch of Icarus witht he colored feathers. I would give you a full acknowledgment, of course.
