As I am beginning to look at story telling and book art, I thought Sue Blackwell’s work could inspire me. I have always love her work as its so delicate and quaint. I particularly like the way she illustrates the content of the book that she uses. I think her work can be quite liminal because she’s transforming the story to something more physical. I also think the way she presents a lot of her work is quite liminal with the dark lighting and the shadows, making her work expand.
