‘Signs that Say What You Want Them To Say and Not Signs that Say What Someone Else Wants You To Say’

This work really moves me because some of the images break stereotyping and prejudice and some of them are straight to the point and moving. The images work with the text and without, they surprise you or they just say what your thinking.

Her work really inspires our project because we are following the same route with our ‘text and image’ project, except we are beginning to create stories for each person in the photographs/ creating the thoughts for them based on what we see in the image. We are also discussing the idea of prejudice and creating opposite characters for each person, making the characters contradict each image.
